New Singles Dates

For those of you that entered for the League and/or Divisional Singles, new dates have been allocated. The Divisional Singles will now be played on the 17th February amd the League Singles on the 24th February. See Cup Fixtures page for full details of where and when.

Dates for the Diary

Provisional date for the Presentation night is Saturday 15th May, earlier this year between seasons so more relevant to the season. Also AGM will be on the Sunday 9th May at 17:00, this will as usual contain the registration for the Summer League.

Sponsorship

We are looking for local businesses to sponsor leagues/cups for the future. The idea to to buy proper trophies that will be handed back each season and will bear the names of previous winners. The sponsorship deal is that the actuals trophies/cup will carry an engraved 'As Donated by ......' with the name of the sponsor for the life of the trophy. The cost to the sponsor is the cost of two trophies, one for the winner and one for second place, the estimated price would be less than £100 and the trophy would be in use for between 9-14 seasons (depends on size of trophies). Committee News

Dave Carpenter and Adam Smith have joined the committee. Dave will be working with Dave Givens the present Chairman until handover takes place at this years AGM. Anyone interested in joining the committee please email the Chairman at chairman@amershampool.co.uk as we always need new members. At present we have 3 people on the waiting list, but as we are trying to limit the number of members from the same team/venue we would still like you to put your name forward if you are interested and you are from a team/venue not represented at the moment.
